Roger Ralston is an artist and teacher living in Spokane, Washington. His work
includes public art, installations, small-scale sculpture, drawings, and web based activities.
When developing an idea, Roger researches extensively the history of the place. A part of this work is having a feel of the place, and how people move through and kinetically know a place. As an aspect of this, Roger is interested in the beauty of the everyday and captures this is in his work.
Roger received his MFA from Louisiana State University and a BS from Lewis and Clark College, in Portland Oregon. He is thrilled to live in the West, where the environment inspires him daily.
