2016 Mobiles in the Woolworth Windows. Tacoma SpaceWorks, Tacoma, WA. Collection of six mobiles in corner window set of Woolworths building in downtown Tacoma, WA. Part of a rotating juried installation of work to vitalize the downtown commercial facades of Tacoma.
2015 Illuminated Kinetics. Window Dressing @ the Motor Inn. Spokane, WA. Installation of a mobile in windows of the Ridpath Motor Inn building. Part of an urban vitalization project supported by Washington Mutual Bank. Mobiles are backlit to enable shadows to play over surface of scrim covering windows over doors sealed and covered by plywood.
2014 Sculptor, Freya Street Bridge Project, City of Spokane, Spokane, WA. Re-installation of removed public works pieces to City Right of Way north of Freya Street Bridge. Worked with engineers, contractors and city to successfully place pieces near original site, following removal by Spokane Streets Department.
2011 Sculptor, Garland District Bike Racks and Bus Bench, Spokane’s Garland neighborhood and the Spokane Arts Commission. Design Fabrication and installation of bike racks and bus bench to fit neighborhood needs for attractive alternative designed works, to provide a community definition.
2010 Sculptor, Freya Street Bridge Project, City of Spokane, Spokane, WA. $90,000 production budget contract for a set of bridge elements for lighting fixtures on bridge. The bridge replaced an existing vehicle bridge over the railroad. Working with city and state departments of transportation, city contractors, engineers and Spokane’s Arts Commission in completing project and installation. Production includes fabricating, coating, and installation of 6’x 3’ wind vane banners mounted to lamp fixtures, before installation, and working with contractors to enable safe installation of lamp fixture and banner
2009 Sculptor, Liberty Pool Banners, Spokane Park Department and City of Spokane, Spokane, WA. Kinetic elements as flanking elements for entry gazebo and community landmarks for pool’s entry gazebo. Working with city department of parks, arts commission, architects and city contractors in completing project and installation.
2008 Sculptor, Freya Street Bridge Project, City of Spokane, Spokane, WA. A $10,000 Design Contract. Design, budgeted, and producing proto-typed, scaled elements for bridge that will replace existing vehicle bridge over railroad. Working with city department of transportation, and arts commission in completing project and installation.
Wind Vanes, Area 58, Spokane, WA. Installation of wind vanes in Parking area surrounding store.
2007 Sculptor, Installation of Rhizomic Possibilities, a $23,000 Art in Public Places Commission for Washington State Arts Commission at Newport High School, Bellevue, WA. Designed, contracted for completion of parts, budgeted, scheduled, delivered and installed piece on campus working with W.S.A.C., District faculty and staff, and contractors.
2006 Artist Finalist selected for presentation for commission at Spokane International Airport, by Airport Authority. Designed, budgeted, and presented conceptual drawings and model for locations in Spokane International Airport for Rotundas and Luggage Concourse.
2005 Sculpture Without Walls, (public outdoor installation), Moses Lake Museum and Art Center, Moses Lake, WA. Installation and then purchase of two wind vanes with glass mosaic in the downtown areas and parks of Moses Lake. Purchase of pieces through selection of People’s Choice award purchase.
2004 Sculptor, Installation of Caterpillar Boogie Woogie an $18,000 Art in Public Places Commission for the Washington State Arts Commission at Spokane Falls Community College. Designed, contracted for completion of parts, budgeted, scheduled, delivered and installed piece on campus working with W.S.A.C., College faculty and staff, and contractors.
